The Greens forms part of Emirates Living, the Emaar residential master community established in 2003. Set beside Sheikh Zayed Road and First Al Khail Street, between Barsha Heights and The Views, it is made up of forty low-rise apartment buildings arranged in ten complexes, each built around a shared courtyard with a pool, gym and play areas. Today, the community has something newer districts cannot manufacture: mature trees, shaded walkways, a central lake and a pace of life that feels noticeably calmer than the towers on its horizon.
That maturity is also why The Greens suits renovation-led interior design so well. Many apartments have now been lived in for many years, and while the buildings and landscaping have settled into their surroundings, interiors that have not been updated since handover rarely reflect how people live today. KC Design works with owners here to turn established apartments into brighter, calmer and more functional homes, while keeping the relaxed character that draws residents to The Greens in the first place.
Ten Complexes Around Shared Courtyards
The community's ten complexes, Al Nakheel, Al Sidir, Al Alka, Al Ghaf, Al Jaz, Al Arta, Al Ghozlan, Al Samar, Al Dhafrah and Al Thayyal, each grouping four buildings around a landscaped courtyard. Apartments range from studios to four-bedroom homes, and many look out over pool decks, planted courtyards or the lake. Layouts follow a small number of recurring plans, so the design questions tend to repeat from one apartment to the next: how to open up a closed kitchen, where to find more storage, and how to make modest rooms feel more generous.
A Community Built for Everyday Living
Daily life in The Greens is organised around walkable convenience. The Greens community centre brings a supermarket, pharmacy, banks, cafés and restaurants within a short stroll, Regent International School sits inside the community, and Dubai Internet City metro station and the business districts of Internet City, Media City and Barsha Heights are close by. The community is pet-friendly, with a dedicated dog park, and its shaded paths and green spaces are in use from early morning to late evening.
Residents Who Value Calm and Convenience
The Greens attracts families, working professionals and pet owners who prefer a quieter, greener setting without giving up easy access to the city's main business hubs. For many of them, a renovation is not about creating a showpiece. It is about an apartment that works better every day: easier to keep tidy, more comfortable for entertaining, better lit in the evening and finished in materials that will still feel right in ten years.
Elevated Everyday Living
That brief shapes KC Design's approach in The Greens. Rather than importing the high-gloss vocabulary of Dubai's newer waterfront districts, we design warm contemporary interiors that suit the community's leafy, low-rise setting: natural textures, a calm palette, considered lighting and bespoke joinery that makes compact rooms work harder. Whether the project is a single kitchen or a full apartment renovation, the aim is the same: a home that feels quietly refined and genuinely easier to live in.
